There was a time when I used to add a new blog post at least once a week, if not multiple times per week. I really have no idea what happened, other than “old age,” work, a relationship, and two very needy cats. With that said, I’m still paying to host this thing on the Internet and I at least owe it to my sense of fiscal prudence to make use of those fees. That means less automated posting of Instagram pictures and more work creating written or otherwise visual content.
So, what I’m going to do in the coming days or weeks is give this place a decidedly 2014 overhaul that will greatly simplify the design and spotlight the content. It will also enable the posting of different kind of blog posts, like videos and such, that should make it easier to update in a hurry. That means a better chance of fitting Ye Olde Blog into my regular routine. I think this is important as Vintage nears its decade-and-a-half milestone in 2016. It should do so with dignity, yes?
So, stay tuned. I ask that a lot. But at least I’m consistent with asking people to stay tuned. Even though this is a blog, and there is nothing to tune.
