The key to an enjoyable life is an ever-increasing iTunes library that knows no bounds. In that spirit, I think it’s time to broaden the horizons of my 14 readers with some new tunes. That is, of course, if these tunes have not already been added to the 600-gig iTunes library that you 14 people already possess.
“Entertainment” by Phoenix
Okay, so I’ve been a fan of Phoenix for a very long time. When I first started being a Phoenix fan, it was because I was a borderline hipster (with better taste in clothes because I was more of a gayster) and they were obscure. Then, they became super-dancy and designer, and so did I. So we grew together. Their new single, “Entertainment,” is a knockout. It sounds like a Chinese restaurant on Broadway. Love it. Can’t wait to see them in concert for a third time.
“Anything Could Happen” by Ellie Goulding
This song is not new. It’s not going to be unfamiliar to most people. But it does bear mentioning, just in case someone who reads this fair blog has not already embraced their inner Ellie fan. Anything really could happen. You could like Ellie Goudling. You could LOVE her, like I do. You could even put this song in rotation during cardio workouts! It’s good. Listen!
“I Can Only Imagine” by David Guetta
I can only imagine how slowly I would run my daily 5k every morning if David Guetta wasn’t a real person who made the best music for gyms everywhere. This is another song in a long line of Guetta hits that I crank during shoulder workouts, ab exercises, 5K races, stair climbing. You get my drift. Imagine yourself listening to this song, and then actuall do it in real life.
That’s all for now! You can thank me for your newly awesome iTunes library later. Or now, if you want — comments are open.
